Rodman Hall Arts Centre has blended
the visual arts, nature and historical heritage for over 40
years in the heart of St. Catharines. Located in the historic
Thomas Rodman Merritt house and situated within the Walker
Botanical Gardens, Rodman Hall is host to a collection of
over 1,000 works of art and artefacts. The Gallery´s
primary focus is on Canadian art as well as significant twentieth
century international works. A collection of sculptures is
situated throughout the grounds.

Built
in 1853 by Thomas Rodman Merritt, this unique historic
home was converted into an art gallery in 1960 and achieved
status as a "National Exhibition Centre" in
1975. The Walker Botanical Gardens opened in 1988 following
several years of restoration work to the surrounding
grounds. Custodianship of the gallery was transferred
to Brock University in 2003. Map
